Do you need a special part for hitching you bike on a bus?

I ride a bmx bike аnԁ i wanna know іf уου need аnу special things tο hitch уουr bike οn thе bike rack οn thе bus, οr ԁο u јυѕt swing thе rack down аnԁ рƖасе ur bike οn top οf іt οr whаt?

well, most public buses have bike racks that will fit mountain and road bikes without any special equipment on your bike, but I think BMX bikes are too small to fit securely…
your best bet will be to call the city bus company and ask…

Where I live you do not have to have any special parts to put your bike on the bike rack on the bus. You just lift your bike up to the rack and sit it in.

No you don’t. The bus has a rack on the front of it that drops out. Put your bike on the rack then strap the frame (straps supplied)to the rack.
