That place looks fantastic. Dont know 2 much about Mountain Bikes only that I use mine to ride to training everyday. Might think about upgrading to a Trek Bike.

    • @ripplingmedia~ what about the Scratch Air??

    • @marek0086 Hey buddy hopefully that will be the next one.. :)

    • @ripplingmedia~ how does the Remedy compare to the Specialized-Enduro and the Scott-Genius LT?

    • they have this at my local bike shop i have one similar and ive also riden on one there a beast :)

    • @marek0086 Hey buddy the Scott genius has better climbing capabilities.. Remedy is smoother

    • @ripplingmedia~ what about the ‘Spesh’ – Enduro??

From memory this video was filmed a couple of years ago. Im not sure all of these areas were closed back then?

    • Few crew I met in Whistler told me about Manly Dam.. Said it was a Rad ride.. Said you can ride the whole circuit in around an hour.. Mite check it out when Im back.

    • im like between 5′ 4″ and 5′ 6″, and i just started to get into mountain biking, would this bike be good for me?

@TheDogchaser Hey buddy check out the Trek website as they have a gr8 range of introductory bikes.. good luck and have fun.. :) )

    • Dude you rock. Good review. I have never felt slower around manly dam than I do after watching this.

@snero3 Thanks buddy.. Good luck next time at the DAM…:)))

    • @TheDogchaser As a fellow Trek lover and rider, I would recommend the Fuel EX 8. It’s won numerous awards and is a fantastic bike for the price.

    • We have the best deals on Road and Mountain Bikes on the web!! Check us out Slickbikes. (rhymes with jon).

    • That TREK video at Manly Dam is insane… Gonna show the crew in Whistler that vid..

    • Looking Good..

Love ridin my trek.. would love to ride in Manly. Looks very hot there.

    • half the stuff they call “innovations” the motorcycling industry has been doing for YEARS longer. And what pisses me off is how some of their bikes go for over 6k. I CAN GET A MOTORCYCLE FOR THAT MONEY and it does alot more with much more advanced technology. The bicycling companies are a joke and easily fall behind in innovation.

    • Great review, great presentation, great edit. You’ve definitely helped me make my decision easier. I ordered my 2011 Remedy 9 today, I’ll have it by Tuesday. Can’t wait!

    • Awesome review, but if you want a real bike, get a Merida Transmission 100-D, not bad though and cool to look at :-)

    • where did you find that drop at 0:37? and the jump at 0:38?

    • @duffyirebel go to the overpass on Wakehurst Parkway and you will find the jump on the track below, once you hit the bottom turn left and follow the pipe up the hill and meet the track again near the retirement village, follow that along and you will find the rock drop off.

    • @ripplingmedia sweet thanks i figured where the gap was but ill have look at the rock drop in a few days once the dam recovers from the rain :)

    • sooooo got to ge to the dam, looks epic, must ride there!
      sic bike too!
